Associate Professor Dr Alongkorn Akkasaeng, a lecturer in Political Science of COPAG was appointed as an ad hoc commissioner on land issues and issue of document of right. This ad hoc commission was appointed under 2017 Constitution of Thailand. Since Thailand faces with inequality in holding land properties between the rich and the poor, this ad hoc commission is responsible for exploring and identifying problems of land issues and land holding in all regions of Thailand. It is also responsible for making reports and recommendations to the parliament for further revisions on relevant laws.
